Double snuffbox with purple ground and hunting scenes

In May 1733, Johann Joachim Kaendler (1706–1775) modeled "A snuff tobacco box in a new style, as two types of tobacco are placed inside; it receives two lids and has a division in the middle." (Pietsch, Arbeitsberichte, p. 19).
