Woman’s Head as a Snuffbox

Meissen, mid-18th century / Height: 5.7 cm / Gold mount

A fully sculpted head with the finest painting, covered with a white cap, adorned with amethyst-colored earrings, and a lace ruff around the neck. On the inside of the lid, four figures are depicted in front of a garden monument.
