Description
- Europe: Kaendler, 26 cm high, without mark, cast and decoration rd. 1750
- Africa: Eberlein / Kaendler, 30 cm high, no mark, cast and decoration rd. 1750
- Asia: Eberlein / Kaendler, 32 cm high, underglaze blue swords mark with dot, rd. 1765
- America: Eberlein / Kaendler, 27 cm high, underglaze blue swords mark with dot, rd. 1765
Only eight complete sets are known, all with comparable marks and dating: e.g. porcelain collection in the Zwinger, Dresden (catalogue "Meissen für die Zaren" no. 142 -145) sword mark with star (Marcolini) about 1775; Coll. Pierpont Morgan (Hutton no. 40), without mark, c. 1760; Coll. Schneider, Lustheim, Bavarian National Museum (acquired by Langeloh in 1966/67, Eikelmann p. 384 ff.), remains of an underglaze blue sword mark, 1750–1770.
