Modeller: Paul Wildenstein - one of the few figures that can be attributed to Wildenstein
Swords mark in underglaze blue, 14 cm high
Provenance: Sotheby`s 15.06.1949 no. 61 (as Pandur)
Only two other figures are known: Coll. Klemperer (No. 522 T. 48) with palace number N-232-W, there named with the correct name "French peasant", which was unknown in literature until now, the figure was standing in the Dresden "Turmzimmer" Residence Palace, Coll. Weinberg (Antique Porcelain Company Sotheby’s New York 11.11.2006 No. 673, ex Coll. Gumprecht, ex Coll. Salz)
