Baluster vases, painted with bouquets of polychrome German flowers. Gilt lips, blue swords mark under glaze, height: 20.5 cm. Cf. Rückert, Meissener Porzellan 1966, illus. 757, plate 177 (MAK Cologne). In the vases bouquets of porcelain flowers, Meissen/France 18th century. Total height: 37 and 37.5 cm respectively. Lit. v gl. The artistically designed porcelain flowers were produced in Meissen and France around the middle of the 18th century and also enjoyed great popularity on bronze-mounted porcelain, clocks and chandeliers.
